Year 10 Supporting Success Jan 26

Many thanks to all that attended the Supporting Success Evening. The attached PowerPoint outlines the following qualifications: English Language, English Literature, Maths and Science exams. There is brief overview of the upcoming coursework deadlines and teacher tips, "How to revise for ..." and advice on some of the online platforms and afterschool sessions.

Thank you to our Heads of Department, teachers, pastoral leaders and representative from the NHS Mental Health Team who supported.

Our teachers are also putting on additional afterschool and online sessions.  Invitations to the online google classrooms, starting 26th January will be sent to your child's school email.

I am sure that you will appreciate the efforts being taken to support, as we, in turn, appreciate the support offered at home.

In the meantime, please re-iterate the importance of the following

A – attendance

B – behaviour

C – classwork, coursework and of course homework!

D - don't let yourself fall behind.

The Maths Computing Breakout areas and main school library are open Monday to Thursday until 4.15 pm for independent study, with a wealth of resources and internet access available.

Kind regards

Mrs Jenkins
