Year 11 Supporting Success

Many thanks to all that attended the Supporting Success Evening. The attached PowerPoint outlines the processes around the exams. There is brief overview of each subject, exam board, upcoming coursework deadlines, exam dates and teacher tips.   Thank you to our Heads of Department, teachers, pastoral leaders and representatives from post 16 providers, including the local colleges, apprenticeship pathways and armed forces who supported.

Additional afterschool sessions, these are more formally co-ordinated after Mocks and start in the New Year.

I am sure that you will appreciate the efforts being taken to support, as we, in turn, appreciate the support offered at home.

In the meantime, please re-iterate the importance of the following

A – attendance

B – behaviour

C – classwork, coursework and of course homework

D - don't let yourself fall behind

E - exams, lots of past paper practice!

Your child will receive an invitation to the online revision sessions starting 26th January via their school email.

The Maths Computing Breakout areas and main school library are open Monday to Thursday until 4.15 pm for independent study, with a wealth of resources and internet access available.

Kind regards

Mrs Jenkins
